New to me machine feet

P503

I love scoring at Salvation Army- today I found these great low shank feet. Another ruffler, adjustable hemmer, another rolled hemmer & a tucker.
The book is a great vintage singer book I found awhile ago. It is the best reference I have found for explaining how to use the fancy feet.

Vintage White sewing machine

P498

I spotted this beauty today at Goodwill. I love the retro colors & stylings. This 1960s machine gleamed like it came from the factory today. Sadly while the price would have been right for this beauty, it was missing the cams. I know with my Viking machine I'm not supposed to run it without a cam inserted.
So it stayed where it was.

The first of many vintage recipes

Image0
I found this cute little booklet at the Salvation Army as-is store.  The condition was/ is pretty bad so a few recipes are missing parts (like the above Sweet Milk Griddle Cakes)

Recipes on this page include:

  • Sweet Milk Griddle cakes
  • Pancakes
  • Corn Fritters
  • Orange Fritters

Photo of the haul.

P459

Would have helped to post a photo.

Tons of patterns

Scored these for free at a local thrift a few days ago. The 90s were not kind years to knitwear design.
Coolest thing is the vintage cookbook- problem is that it is written in Hungarian.
That Bernat booklet is from 1946.
